Halloween

Today I want to show you some halloween decorations, which I made (with some help of my housemate) for our little party, and also the food we prepared for it and the way in wich we served it.

MBFWM

This weekend I'm in Madrid because of the fashion week, yesterday I went to the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Madrid. I couldn't see any catwalk because you need to be invited, so I only had access to the Cibelespacio. 

There are not so many things to do but although I spent a good time. The funniest thing I made was try the demo of The Sims 4, were you could made a "Simselfie", what consists of create a sim like you. After that if you want, you could take a sim photo on to the photocall with a headband whit the classical green diamond of the sims. That's what most liked, now I can be a sim when I want!

On to the upper photo you an see the other things I get there. The cool necklace from eBay stand, where you have to create a personal collection on to the web, and where you could found the sweatshirts that some Spanish designers made for eBay. I bought the pen and the book on to the official stand of MBFWM, the book is about a collaboration between street artist and fashion designers which occurred on 2005 I think.

The other funny thing I found there was the Glamour stand, there you could get a temporally tattoo, ad of course I get the catlike one ;)

The most interesting part of the Cibelespacio was, with out doubt, the EGO, where emergent designers show and sell their creations. There I fell in love with the designs of Beatriz Peñalver, it was so cool with the detail of the fluorescent lining combined with interesting designs. Definitely I have to get one of her designs.

And finally when I was returning to the hotel I found this breakers on to the Chamartin station, the best way to finish the day.

Skull cap

Last weekend was the birthday of a very good friend so I want to give her a special gift. Last year when I tried to study fashion design I bought two plain caps for my project, but finally I didn’t presented the project and the black cap stays new. So when I started to think about the birthday gift I remember that she told to me about the cap on summer, asking if I could paint it for her with a skull, so I decided to make it as her birthday gift.

First I started searching for some inspiration pictures of skulls, skull caps and old school tattoos:

After that I started with the skull, after I added some roses and two poker cards on the back. Finally I added a dagger to the skull for reasons of composition. To end it I painted a diamond on to the under part of the visor. I painted it all with textile paint.

And this was the result:

Ink

Today I'm here to present you my tattoo project, nowadays I already have another two but It's so adictive... Once you get inked you can't stop. So more than a year after the last one, I decided to get a new one, but I don't like the nonsense tattoos so I have to think it very well.

I want to have my meaning name and a cat on it, becouse I always have thought that amanecer is a beautiful word (in spanish it means when the sun comes up in the morning), and the cat becouse I had loved the cats all my live, and also I think they are a reflect of my personality.

With this two things I started to design, first thinking about the placement and after the composition. It will be placed on the back of the arm, on the upper part of it, so the tattoo have to be in a vertical position and can't be so big. Once I have it, let's start with the composition, I don't want only a cat, it have to be in to somethig, so I will design a frame to place it inside.

I can't decide which one will be better if the draw or the silhouette, so I will pass to the cat and make diferent designs with both frames.

To draw the cat I use some photos of my brother's cat that I pick last holiday. First I trace the shape and after I added a few details like hair.

Finally I've to put together the cats and the frames, getting six designs three whit each frame.

The only thig I left to do now are the leters. It will be placed under the frame, and it wil be writed whit the

Angerthas of Moria, the runes of The lord of the rings. First whith the book I've to translate it, and once I have it, lets draw the letters.

Well I have the design now I only have to decide wich one will be the final option and go to get ink!
